1. Ordinary w guardrail beam
The ordinary corrugated guardrail is the most basic corrugated guardrail, which is made up of multiple W-shaped steel plates and is shaped into a wave shape. This guardrail has the advantages of easy installation and low cost, and is widely used on both sides of highways. However, its protective performance is relatively poor and is not suitable for highways with fast speeds.
The highway guardrail beam is improved on the basis of the ordinary corrugated guardrail. Its structure is tighter and the connection between the guardrail and the bracket is stronger. In addition, high-speed corrugated guardrails are made of thicker hot-rolled steel coils, installed with smaller spacing, and then rust-proofed through hot-dip galvanizing and other processes to improve their service life and corrosion resistance.
3. Double-sided w guardrail beam
The double-sided corrugated guardrail is an improvement on the single-sided corrugated guardrail. Its structural feature is that both sides of the guardrail are corrugated, which can not only isolate vehicles but also ensure the safety of pedestrians.
