Guardrail Gasket

Guardrail spacers are spacer-like items that are placed between the bolt and the guardrail when the guardrail bolt is installed. They work as follows:

1. Distribute pressure: guardrail gaskets can disperse the pressure exerted by guardrail bolts on the guardrail, prevent the bolts from directly contacting the guardrail and cause uneven pressure, thereby reducing the pressure concentration of the guardrail board and avoiding local deformation or damage.

2. Shock-absorbing and buffering: The guardrail gasket can also play the role of shock-absorbing and buffering. In the case of wind, vibration or external impact, the guardrail gasket can absorb part of the force and reduce the impact on the guardrail and bolts, thereby protecting the integrity and stability of the guardrail system.

3. Anti-corrosion: Guardrail gaskets are often made of corrosion-resistant materials, such as stainless steel or plastic, which can effectively isolate the contact between bolts and guardrails, reduce friction and oxidation reactions between bolts and guardrails, and prevent corrosion. Extend the life of the guardrail.

4. Easy to adjust and maintain: When adjusting the position of the guardrail bolts, disassembling or replacing the guardrail, the guardrail gasket can play the role of filling, fixing and protecting, which is convenient for adjustment and maintenance.
