During the production process of Guardrail H Post, the surface treatment is often carried out by hot-dip galvanizing process to improve its corrosion resistance and durability. The hot-dip galvanizing process is a method of immersing steel products in molten zinc solution to protect their surfaces by galvanizing. The specific process is as follows:
1. Pretreatment: Pickling, cleaning, degreasing, derusting and other treatments are carried out on the surface of the guardrail H post to ensure the surface is clean.
2. Soaking and dipping: immerse the pretreated guardrail H post in the preheated zinc solution to coat the zinc layer. The soaking time is closely related to the thickness of the zinc layer, generally 3-10 minutes, and the thickness of the zinc layer is 60-100 μm.
3. Polishing: After dipping, the guardrail H post will be polished to make its surface smooth.
4. Cooling: The polished guardrail H post is flushed with water and cooled to dry the surface and accelerate the crystallization of the zinc layer. The hot-dip galvanizing process can effectively improve the corrosion resistance and durability of the H column of the guardrail, and avoid problems such as corrosion and rust caused by oxidation. At the same time, the surface finish of the galvanized layer is high and has a good appearance effect.
